In 1968 Leonard Lauder asked the dermatologist Norman Orentreich for support in the development of an allergy-tested facial care that can be used by any woman, regardless of age. Clinique ist the result of this collaboration. The professional collaboration with dermatologists, bio-medical scientists and scientists has been constantly expanded.
